Research

European, National and Regional Identity – Theory and Practice is a joint research program of three universities, Partium Christian University, University of Debrecen and University of Oradea, which will take place between November 2009 and April 2011 under the Hungary–Romania Cross-Border Co-operation Programme 2007–2013, financed by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union. Using interdisciplinary methods and theories the five research teams will examine the interactions between different types of identity from the perspective of contemporary philosophy and sociology.
